Story
Dear all,
On the 2nd of December, we lost a great friend, Jago Ainslie, to Meningitis, a bacterial infection which mostly affects younger people. In light of this, a few of his friends have come together to raise some funds towards a company called Meningitis Now, an organisation built around raising awareness of such a disease and fighting against it.
More information on what Meningitis is and how it can be spotted can be found on the Meningitis Now website:
https://www.meningitisnow.org/meningitis-explained/what-is-meningitis/
Our target is to run the distance of Shrewsbury to Newcastle, 187 miles, over the course of 18 days between 1st February and 18th February, culminating in Newcastle itself on the last day. This is where Jago was due to start university in September. Any support to this cause will be greatly appreciated, and could go a long way in helping save many lives in the future.
Many thanks, Nick Argyle and Louis Graham
