Story
Last July, my Dad, 49, otherwise fit and healthy started having a cough which progressively worsened causing him to become short of breath. After the doctors investigated, in August he was told he had a form of cancer in his lung. We were all left with so much worry and pain as we didn't know what type, what stage or if it was curable...
After more tests, scans and appointments, in September my dad was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma a form of blood cancer which was treatable and had a good success rate. In my dads case, the lymphoma was in his lung which was rare. This restricted his breathing an caused his lung to collapse.
In October he started his chemotherapy treatment. After four cycles of treatment and a month of recuperation, this February my dad got the ALL CLEAR! This was the best news and a huge relief to us all.
My dad and my family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors for all there hardwork and amazing efforts when taking care of cancer patients! To say a MASSIVE THANK YOU, I have decided to participate in a Skydive to raise money for Macmillan! Macmillan are a wonderful charity and we are forever grateful for there hardwork and amazing efforts.
Any donations would be much appreciated! Thank you Jade😊
