Story
Dear friends,
This is a fundraising effort to support young people living with cancer. Our nine-year-old son (Aaran) has recently been diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer called Ewing sarcoma.
Since July, we have seen how this devastating disease impacts lives and the amazing work that healthcare professionals are doing to develop new drugs, pioneer innovation, develop treatment plans, and provide holistic care to give children a better chance of surviving cancer.
To advance these efforts, the fundraising will support research and care provided through the University College of London Hospital (UCLH) Charity. UCLH is operates under cutting edge research work and are partnering with institutions globally to advance medical research and care. Our initial fundraising goal is to reach US$50,000 by April 1st, 2025.
Several wonderful friends and family members have identified fundraising activities they would like to engage in, and all our welcome to join these efforts.
To start things off, Aaran's dad will run a half-marathon in Almaty, Kazakhstan at the end of September. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated to support children’s chances of surviving cancer and advancing global medical research.
