I became involved with I Choose Freedom when I joined a team of Freemasons who were giving up their time and labour in order to help renovate one of the charity's refuges.

The charity provides refuge and a path to freedom for adult and child survivors fleeing domestic abuse. It offers safe accommodation and advocacy for women and children who would otherwise suffer coercion, intimidation, violence and even murder.
