We work with disadvantaged young people to transform their lives by a farm visit

Story

"Once you choose hoop, anything is possible!"

Hi gang, on 11th April I am undergoing arthroscopic capsular release and removal of olecranon plate and screws...basically, an operation on my right arm to hopefully enable me to get back to my old self (and start training to be a Gladiators Contender - my ambition since 1992!!).

To keep spirits up during this time, my girls and I have decided to set ourselves a revolutionary challenge to raise some much needed funds for the truly sensational local charity Jamie's Farm!

Jamie's Farm (in Box), believe in the innate potential and good in every young person, no matter what their background or life experience. Through Farming, Family & Therapy they have helped over 14,000 teenagers to get their lives back on track - their hard work and dedication is truly transformative and I cannot think of a better charity to help out any way we can!

So, between now and my 44th Birthday (2nd May) my daughters and I are going to attempt to Hula Hoop 44 times for every one of the deserved 14,000 children that have benefitted from their time at Jamie's Farm!

That's 616,000 revolutions!! (Which, at my average rate, will take 102 hours!). I'll do everything I can to achieve this, but my girls will be there by my side - and I couldn't wish for better teammates!

So, if you have a spare penny we would be beyond grateful and it would be by far my favourite Birthday gift!

The target is set at £140 representing 1p per child that Jamie's Farm have helped - here's to the next 14,000!!
