Martin's March To Ham Hill

Fundraising for Talk Club
Ham Hill is a beautiful country park in the heart of Somerset with some great walks, superb views and a fantastic pub, the "Prince Of Wales". It's also my happy place!
I grew up in the village below Ham Hill and spent hundreds of hours up there. Now, I go back several times a year to clear my head, have a meal at the pub and recharge my batteries. I love the place!
Ham Hill is 41.7 miles (or 67km) from my house near Bristol. So my challenge for the month of March is this; to cover that distance from home to Ham Hill in four different ways; run, walk, cycle and row. (The latter two will be done in a gym as I don't own a bike or a canoe!). That's 67km of running, 67km of walking, 67km of cycling and 67km of rowing!
You can sponsor me as from Monday 17th February; the challenge will begin on Saturday 1st March and end on Sunday 30th March, finishing with the Gloucester 10k which I'm running in. I'll be updating my progress on Facebook and Twitter (@HamdonMart) too.
So why Talk Club?
Talk Club is a UK male mental health charity. In the UK, 76% of suicides are male. Talk Club seeks to change these appalling statistics through a community of peer-to-peer talk and listening or exercising, and therapy groups to drive change in how men connect.
By donating to my fundraiser you're helping Talk Club to grow Talk & Listen, Talk & Exercise, and Talk Club Therapy groups. These groups are safe and confidential spaces to encourage more men to open up and take charge of their mental health. This, in turn, saves lives.
Thank you!
