Story
As most of you know Andy was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour in May 2023. We have a team of us that each year will do something to support brain tumour research . When andy was first diagnosed we said we will do all we can to raise awareness for this awful disease. There has been no change in the standard line of care within the NHS since 2002 and brain tumours are not receiving the funding they deserve to help find a cure.
This year I. Saturday 6th July we will be climbing mount snowdon to have breakfast on the summit. This is something on Andy’s bucket list and we are all going to help him achieve this while raising awareness and money to help fund the fight to find a cure 💪🏽
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
