Notes of Kindness- Live Music For a Cause

Notes of Kindness – Live Music for a Cause · 25 March 2025
We’re students from ESCP Business School and members of the ESCP Music Collective (EMC), using our passion for music to give back to our community. Through this student-led initiative, we are raising funds for the Royal Free Charity to support the Royal Free Hospital in its ongoing efforts to provide excellent patient care, advance medical research, and make healthcare more accessible. Our goal is to raise £1,000 to help contribute to these important efforts.
At ESCP, we believe in making a difference beyond the classroom. Music has the power to bring people together, uplift spirits, and create meaningful change. That’s why we’re hosting Notes of Kindness—a live acoustic session at the Royal Free Hospital canteen on Tuesday, 25th March, at 11 AM.

Hi! My name is Yin, and I’m a guitarist at EMC. Earlier this year, I had an unexpected knife accident that injured the nerve in my hand, requiring surgery. It was painful, and I never imagined something like this would happen. However, after the surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, I’ve been on the road to recovery. Now, six weeks post-surgery, I’m managing the pain well enough to do what I love, to play guitar again. I’m incredibly grateful to the amazing doctors, nurses, and specialists who took such great care of me during my recovery. This event is my way of giving back to the hospital that helped me when I needed it the most. With the support of my fellow musicians, we’re raising funds to support the hospital in its continued amazing work. – Yin
