Story

Next event - July 31st - Paris to Rugeley Run. Sponsored by Webbs & C Residential Estate Agents.

July 31st, James will fly to Paris, trek to the Eiffel Tower and then run all the way back home to Rugeley, finishing at the home of the event sponsors Webbs / C Residential Estate Agents in Rugeley. The run is estimated to last 19 days and cover more than 430 miles, making this James' hardest challenge to date!

This year we will be organising many different events all to raise money for the St Giles Hospice. The events calendar is as follows:

May 23rd - The National Three Peaks Community Challenge

July 12th/13th - Guinness World Record Attempt - Greatest Distance Run in 24 Hours Blindfolded.

July 31st - (ANNOUNCEMENT SOON) Powered by C Residential

August 23rd/24th - DLF Charity Cup, Powered by Generation Coaching

The National Three Peaks Community Challenge

In May The David Lewis Foundation organised the mighty National Three Peaks Challenge, where we climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden all within 24 hours. Challengers fundraised independently and together we raised over £12,000!

Guinness World Record Attempt - Greatest Distance Run in 24 Hours Blindfolded.

Last year we succeeding in beating the World Record, but failed in proving it. Evidence gathering turned out to be as hard as the run itself. However, we've corrected our errors and are coming back for that title! James will be attempting this challenge at Rowley Park, Stafford.

July 31st - Announcement soon, Powered by C Residential

August 23rd/24th - DLF Charity Cup, Powered by Generation Coaching

Finally we have the DLF Charity Cup. This will be at (Location TBC), where we will be hosting several children's football tournaments and an adult's tournament over the course of the weekend, where we will be providing food stands as well as entertainment stalls for the children: bouncy castle, face-painting, sweet stalls etc. This will be the final event of this year's season.
