Story

Hi everyone,

On Thursday 13th June I will be running a 55km ultramarathon around the city of Munich.

Two of my biggest passions in life are the Scotland national football team and running. So, I thought, what better way to combine these both, than to run an ultramarathon while I am in Germany for the European Championships - raising money for the Tartan Army Children's Charity at the same time.

At 9am, on the eve of the opening match of Euro 2024 - Germany v Scotland - with my kilt on, I will set off from Marienplatz in the city centre of Munich, running solo, on my own planned 55km route around the centre and suburbs.

Despite having ran ultramarathons before, this will be a new challenge, running this distance with my kilt on, in the European summer heat!

The Tartan Army Children's Charity (TACC) do great work, helping disadvantaged kids in Scotland and also in the countries we visit, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
