Story
I’ve decided to do another sponsored endurance challenge this year. It will be like the previous challenges that I’ve completed but over a longer period of time.
The challenge will start at 7am on Friday 6th September and finish at 7pm Saturday 7th September (36 hours nonstop).
This is an extremely tough challenge that will require a lot of preparation.
I will be running/ walking a 1.4-mile loop around Latchbrook Saltash, after each lap I will complete a set of press-ups and a set of pull-ups. The criteria of the challenge is to complete the 36 hours without stopping, however, I have set myself some personal targets –
80 miles (57 laps)
4,500 press-ups
450 pull-ups
For those of you that aren’t aware, I was selected to be part of the Olympic Torch Relay in Paris in June this year, this was a massive honour and a once in a lifetime opportunity. My previous fundraising challenges played a part in the selection process, so this has given me the extra motivation to complete an even tougher challenge this year.
Any support in terms of sponsorship will be greatly appreciated, and you are welcome to come along and support me during the challenge.
