I’m excited to announce that I’ll be running the Weymouth Half Marathon on Sunday 16th March to support the Swanage Pier Trust and help preserve this iconic landmark!

Swanage Pier is over 120 years old and is one of only 14 remaining timber piers in the country. Owned and maintained by a local charity, this amazing Victorian structure requires constant maintenance due to severe weather conditions and waterborne woodworm. At a cost of over £200,000 a year to maintain, with no regular funding support, the Swanage Pier Trust is faced with the constant challenge of raising the necessary funds to protect our heritage for local residents, visitors and generations to come.
