The Cragg Challenge is a set of events based on the longest continuous incline in England, running from Mytholmroyd up to the reservoir at Blackstone Edge.

The day features the School Relay (The Oliver Collinge Climb) which has a team of local schoolchildren drawn from the local schools try to set a new time for carrying the Coiner’s baton the entire length of the hill.

Individual events include 1 mile, 5K, 10K and 10 mile runs (first half uphill, second half back to the finish!), a 5-mile cycle climb, a 35-mile cycle sportive and The Oliver Collinge Climb (school relay) which is 5 miles from bottom to top. See www.craggchallenge.co.uk for more details.
