Story
Help us raise £40 for 40 years of CMTUK!
This year, CMTUK is celebrating 40 years of supporting people living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a lifelong, progressive neurological condition that affects the peripheral nerves.
What started as a small support group in 1986 has grown into a community of more than 2,000 members. For four decades, we’ve been here to provide information, support, connection and a place for people living with CMT and their families to turn to.
Now, we’re asking you to help us make the next 40 years just as meaningful.
As part of our #40for40 campaign, we’re inviting people to raise £40 for our 40th anniversary. Whether it’s a sponsored walk, a bake sale, a swim, a personal challenge or simply a donation, every contribution helps us continue our work.
Your donation helps us provide support and information, bring our community together, raise awareness of CMT and support the push for better research, diagnosis and care.
You don't need to have CMT to make a difference. Whether you're living with the condition, supporting a loved one, or simply want to help a charity doing important work, we'd love you to be part of our next chapter.
Every donation, whatever the amount, is appreciated and helps us keep showing up for our community.
Forty years of support. Forty years of community. And so much more still to do.
Please donate if you can, share our campaign, and help us make the next 40 years count!
