Story

Thank you for visiting our page, we really appreciate your support.

We are taking on a challenge to support and fund research to reduce the impact that bowel cancer is having to so many lives.

Our story...

As a bunch of mates we are very similar to so many others in that cancer has had an impact in some way to each of us. Our chief charity campaigner of the group Chris Bradley (Crilly) was ready to take on his latest challenge and after hearing about bowel cancer having an impact to one of our group it was decided this year that Bowel Cancer UK would be the focus.

Sutors story - cancer has seemingly been an ever present in my family and just before Christmas my wonderful sister at just 44 was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thankfully she is well on her way through the battle but as always the impact has been huge. I wanted to do something to raise some awareness and much needed funds to try and tackle this thing and reduce the impact this horrible disease causes.

The challenge -

Over 24 hours we will be running a total of 24 miles, one each hour, on the hour. It's a demanding physical but mental challenge which reminds us in a small way of the constant journey so many have to take on to battle cancer.

We will be travelling around weston regularly during the challenge to try and raise as much money as we can and would really appreciate any donations to this wonderful cause.

Every penny helps so thank you for whatever you can give.
