Story
Wheatfields played a huge part in caring for my dad in his final months, in hospice & at home. They were able to offer comfort & support to my dad & us.
My dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer at the start of 2023. On the 9th of March we were told dad only had 6 - 12 months to live, his cancer was very aggressive & had spread to other parts of his body, he passed away just 3 & a half months later on the 25th of June 2023, he had just turned 69.
Dad was given the best treatment at Wheatfields, he was able to use a syringe driver which offered him constant symptom relief but for just 1 of these, the cost is £1100!
It costs £3.8million every year to run all of Wheatfields services.
They receive £1.8million of this funding from the government.
The remaining £2million needed to provide our palliative care each year, is donated by people like you!
So, for the foreseeable future I will be running “challenge Stacy”! for the right price you can challenge me to do something, all you have to do is send me an email to littlemissvarney@gmail.com with your challenge & the amount you’re willing to pay to see me do it, if your challenge is accepted, you’ll be asked to make your donation first, then I will video the challenge for all to see.
Please help me raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause.
Any & all donations welcome, every little bit helps.
Thank you.
