We are fundraising to raise money for Gold Geese, a local charity to us that supports families in South Essex for children with cancer.

My brother and I are taking part in the London to Lisbon banger rally where we will take on a 5-day challenge covering over 2000 miles to our final destination, Lisbon, Portugal.

We will set off from the UK on the 24th April 2025 from Brands Hatch with 40 other teams heading down to Folkestone to cross the English Channel in convoy to start our European adventure.

Over the next 5 days, we will be doing daily activities and challenges while heading south of France, crossing into Spain across the Pyrenees mountain range and then west across Spain to cross the northern border of Portugal and then to head south through Portugal to our finishing point, Lisbon on 28th April.

On our journey we are hoping to raise funds for Gold Geese.

Gold Geese provides personalised practical and emotional support to families of children and young people fighting cancer in South East Essex.

Everybody’s experience of cancer is different, so we tailor care for each family, including

We also raise awareness of childhood cancer signs and symptoms and deliver training workshops to childcare practitioners, parents and healthcare professionals.
