In memory of Barbara Naylor
We are Ovarian Cancer Action. 🩵 As the UK's leading ovarian cancer research charity, we’re working to change that. By finding new and better ways to prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, we will ensure a future where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.

Story

About Barbara

Beautiful Barbara Naylor was a loving wife to Peter, inspiring mum to Natalie and Tamsyn; and a devoted Nana to Charlie, Harriet, Scarlett, Willow, Poppy and Holly. And not forgetting Bella - Barbara and Peter's famous dog, who has over 40,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter)!

Barbara passed away on Saturday 7th February 2026, after a four‑year battle with ovarian cancer — a battle she faced with extraordinary courage, creativity, and an unwavering positive spirit.

Barbara had a gift for bringing warmth and light into every room. She was endlessly creative - crafting, imagining, and inspiring. Even during the toughest moments of her illness, she found ways to lift others up. Her resilience was remarkable, her kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her and her smile lit up the room.

Why We’re Fundraising

We are raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action, a charity dedicated to improving diagnosis, treatment, and research for a disease that affects far too many women. Barbara believed deeply in helping others, and we want her legacy to continue doing just that.

This page is a place for anyone who knew Barbara — or who simply wants to support the cause — to donate in her memory. Your donation will help fund vital research and support future families facing ovarian cancer.

Our Ongoing Mission

This isn’t just a one‑time fundraiser. As a family, we plan to organise future events and challenges in Barbara’s name, keeping her spirit alive through acts of generosity, creativity, and community. This page will remain open for ongoing donations, updates, and future fundraising efforts.
