Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I'm cycling for my friend Robert and fellow cyclist who has myeloma. This is roberts own words. Ever heard of Multiple Myeloma?

I’m Robert, and I had never heard of this incurable bone marrow cancer until I was diagnosed in October 2015. It’s not got me yet, and is currently under control, so I continue to live my life to the full. This includes being a member of the 710 Cycling Club which, led by Ian Baird, undertakes a fundraising challenge each year. This year’s chosen charity is Myeloma UK, and I welcome you to follow and support the club’s activities over the coming months ahead of our big push in May. Whilst cycling is our main focus other fundraising activities are planned – more news about these, Myeloma, and how it has affected me will follow.

Here’s to the 2024 challenge
