When my dad was in his 30s he would run 10ks and half marathons with ease. I’ve heard some say that in 20 years time you will give all the money and possessions you own to be as healthy and mobile as you are now. I know that to be true. My dad has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and cures for his age group are rare. We have received so much support and knowledge from various charities and key workers so I would like to raise money for blood cancer uk to support other families like ours and to hopefully find a cure. While doing this I hope to be able to relive the many runs my dad has done in our home town in the hope the universe hears me and gives us more time. It is likely that I’ll be running this over both May and June as we are in and out with hospital visits but I’ll be running the 50 miles regardless. With love, Anna xx
