Story
Thank you for clicking on my Just Giving page for Hamelin Trust.
On September 15th, I will be taking part in the London to Brighton Charity Bike Ride, and hoping to raise as much as possible for the amazing Hamelin Trust Charity.
Hamelin Trust provide social care to adults and children with profound learning disabilities. They provide long-term residency as well as respite opportunities for families.
The charity is one that means a lot to my family, as my sister-in-law Faye is a resident with Hamelin Trust, and we can see first hand the amazing work all the staff do.
Fundraising is critical for Hamelin Trust, and every year aim to raise £300,000, so they can continue to have a positive impact on the people many people they support. I know first hand that a new minibus is needed. This is vital for the charity as this is the only way residents can explore the local community and attend services such as the Hydrotherapy pool in Rochford, which is used by residents to manage long-term health conditions, including musculo-skeletal conditions and Cerebal Palsy.
Thank you for taking the time to read my fundraiser, please click on the link to the charity website below if you would like to read more, and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Alfie.
