Story

A couple of years ago I ran the 107 mile Tour De Mon bike race around Anglesey and raised over £1600 for the Railway Children charity, see my story here:  http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/the-running-blog/2013/sep/13/ever-run-107-mile-bike-race

I've signed up for the Liverpool to Leeds canal Race as I'm determined to push myself further and would love your support in raising money for Alzheimer's Society in memory of Ken, one of my good friends Dad.

After promising to dedicate my next ultramarathon to the cause I realised that I didn't really know anything about Alzheimer's, if your the same, use the following link to find out more: https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/?gclid=CKjDsf6I6MoCFQkq0wodm0QOiw

I do however know a little bit more about how to prepare to run a long way and am currently building my strength and 'getting healthy' so that I am ready to start training and once again become a 'proper runner'.
