We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

hi,

to raise awareness for type 1 diabetes and to find a cure. I'm going to get my pony tale cut off and donate the hair to the little princess trust who make wigs from real hair to give to little girls suffering hair loss and raise money for JDRF raising awareness of type one diabetes and finding a cure.

Type 1 diabetes is close to my heart as most who know me will know. My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed at 2 years and 9 months and it is a rocky road. but we have a good days and not so good days. she's my hero and I want to do something that will make a difference to each child diagnosed JDRF gives them a kidssacc containing a rufus bear who has injection sites and is a type 1 diabetic himself. and lots of usefull information for parents and kids. And I want to help others look for the signs so they don't end up leaving it too late. katie was very ill when diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. and was in intensive care. if diagnosed early this can usually be avoided.

They are also looking for a cure. One day with our help they may achieve this.
