Kevin Crump has celebrated a milestone birthday this year and so he wanted to set himself a challenge that was somewhat different.

Already a keen cyclist and a member of a local cycling club (Horsham Cycles) he decided that a long ride would be his challenge. So in August he will be attempting to ride from Dover to Cape Wrath – a distance of 1000 miles in 14 days. This will involve riding through the Kentish Downs, Rutland, the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales and the beautiful isles of Western Scotland.

Kevin would like to raise money to support Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
