Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, the purpose of which is to raise money for the Rohingya people, suffering and displaced under unimaginable conditions in Myanmar/ Bangladesh.

I aim to play my part and will be trekking to Mt Everest Base Camp for Charity this December. I will be pushing myself through some of the highest, harshest, un-inhabitable and challenging environments in the world as I take on a 17-day trek through the Himalayas to reach Everest Base Camp reaching a maximum altitude of 18,000 ft (5,400m) above sea level where oxygen is only 10% and temperatures drop to -18 degrees C. 

This is in aid of delivering life saving essential help to the Rohingya refugees. The dehumanisation of the Rohingya people has become ethnic cleansing in Myanmar. Human rights violations, murder and destruction are rife,  women & children abused and villages burned to the ground. An estimated 500,000 refugees have fled to Bangladesh following violence in Myanmar and the number is rising.

100% of your contribution will be going towards a great cause where urgent medical attention is needed ASAP along with construction of shelters, food and water supplies.
