On 13 April I ran the London Marathon in aid of Guide Dogs.

Did you know that Guide Dogs receives NO money from the government, is entirely dependent on voluntary donations, and needs £50 million a year to continue its work?

Every year Guide Dogs breeds over 1,000 puppies and it costs around £10 a day to train and care for each one. Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach and exceed my target of £3650. This amount will support a working guide dog partnership for a year.

To the left you can see, along with my triumphant snaps, photos taken at a Guide Dogs open day in March in Leamington Spa, when I had a chance to meet some very inspiring people and some gorgeous dogs. I feel so privileged to have run for this wonderful charity which really does transform lives.
