I had a huge ovarian cyst and when it was removed in October 2015 it was discovered that I also had stage 1a ovarian cancer. The wonderful surgical team at Altnagelvin hospital removed the cyst, the cancerous ovary and everything else they needed to so that they didn't have to operate again and I didn't need any further treatment. I got the all clear last week :) It's a long road to full recovery but I'm getting there and I want to give back to the charities that helped me cope and are helping other people and their loved ones deal with cancer. I love Peter Kay, my bestie Bronagh and cheesy dance tunes so because I can't do anything near a 5k *yet* ;) I can't think of a better way to raise some money for a great charity.
