Story
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for visiting our page. Kane and I have given up Common Sense for Lent, so we are cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End over the Easter Holidays. We have 11 days to cover 935 miles, so thank goodness we are both pro-cyclists and not slightly out of shape Londonshire yuppies.
THE MONEY
I am hoping to raise over £2,500 for Save the Children to help those children affected by the Libyan uprising get a decent start in life. If you are able to give a note or two, or even just a few pounds, everything is appreciated, and make sure you giftaid it so we can claim the tax back for your donation from the government for free. If we breach our target, we are going to do the last leg of the journey in fancy dress - more details to follow.
WATCH US
We will be blogging and tweeting (@petergoult) and all the rest of that stuff so you can laugh at us as we go along.
HELP US WITH ACCOMMODATION
Check out our route here. If you know anyone who can help us out with a bed for the night at any of these points, it would be really appreciated!
Thanks and we'll let you know how we get on!
Pete
P.S.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
