For the whole month of November I will not be wearing shoes in order to raise awareness of the fact that millions of people on out planet cannot afford basic sanitation and food, let alone the plethora of shoes we in the west own.

Christian Aid is a charity which works to alleviate the worst cases of poverty, and is currently involved in several urgent appeals including one to deal with the food crisis in East Africa. Please check out their website for more info. http://www.christianaid.org.uk/
