Dear All,
I enjoyed the pain and suffering so much last year that I've entered again. This years event is on May 17th so I've already started my Guiness and black pudding training regime.
Again I'm raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and as most of you got this email last year I won't bore you with loads of detail. Suufice to say that the Marie Curie nurses do an invaluble job and their organsation is entirely voluntarily funded so your donations, no matter what size, really do make a differnce.
You can donate at my fund raising page http://www.justgiving.com/nlawless or you can just send your private chaffeurs round to my house with lots of cash, either way is fine by me. For those of you nervous of donating on line I, and many of my friends (ok, both of them), have been using Just Giving for years with no problems.
As an added bonus for all you brass banders I've recently done an of arrangement of "Happy Birthday To You" for full band (Happy Birthday Sketches)
How many times do you get asked at a gig if you can play it and it ends up with one or two of you busking the melody?
Anyone who donates through this page can have a set of parts and score completely free of charge. My donation will be the time, paper, and ink to produce it for you. How can you let this chance go? Your own little bit of CripCrap Productions.
My thanks go to Faber Music (the copyright owners) who gave me permission and kindly reduced the cost of the license. Thanks to Zaid Ahmad of Faber who made this happen.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
