As some of you may know, my Dad has Korsokoff's syndrome.  This is a dementia that he brought on himself by years of alcohol abuse.

He is lucky that he has funds to cover his needs and family to assist in making sure the rest of his days are comfortable. 

Korsokoff's is a dementia that is avoidable but lots of other forms are NOT!! 

The Alzheimers Society are dedicated to finding a cure or prevention for dementia and in time hopefully this is something we can stop before it takes hold of unsuspecting individuals.

I shall be having my head shaved on 19th October, 2013 and donating the hair that is cut off to go to a separate charity that makes wigs for Cancer Patients.

The event will be videoed and posted on You Tube and Social Media for your entertainment! Please give generously as this is a great cause and a big event for me!
