In memory of Nigel Lancaster

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

We lost Nigel last year, an inspirational teacher and a much loved family member to Pancreatic Cancer a matter of weeks after diagnosis. Pancreatic Cancer is the fifth most commmon cause of cancer death in the UK, with the lowest survival rate of the 21 most common cancers. Despite all this Pancreatic Cancer receives only 1% of the total cancer research spend.

Team Camden Massiiiv is Janni, Mike, Phil, Sean and Adam and we are embarking on the The National Three Peaks Challenge which involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. The total distance walked is estimated at 42 kilometres (26 mi)[1] or 44 km (27 mi),[2] with a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 m) !
