I'm undertaking volunteer work with Hanna's Orphanage, a small charity set up to help vulnerable children of Ethiopia.  The orphanage itself was started by a lady called Hanna Teshome who was asked to look after a young orphan.  From this point, the orphanage has grown over the years and now supports around 300 children.  The charity raises money to support the orphanage in any way it can, be that maintenance of the orphanage building itself to providing pens, books and games for the children to learn and play with.  

All donations are used according to the direct needs and knowledge of the orphanage and it's organisers so all your donations will be going directly to those who know best how it can help.      

Over the next 7 months, I'll be raising money to donate to Hanna's Orphanage and then will be lucky enough to travel out with 3 other volunteers to Ethiopia for 2 weeks to work with the children there teaching.  I feel very priviledge to be given the opportunity to get involved with such a deserving charity and to be able to meet it's organisers and children face to face.

So I ask that if you can spare any donations to go towards this great cause, they would be gratefully appreciated!
