I have joined this challenge which involves completing a be80 event at some point in 2017, still to pick a venue/event.

Complete madness but for a very worthy charity in memory of an inspirational girl.

It has been ten years since I have ridden on a regular basis, been about 4 years probably since I last sat on a horse and my first baby is due in December so the fitness and skills I need to aquire in a short space of time will be a big struggle but hopefully an enjoyable journey with the minimum of trips required to the bgh! 

I have only ever participated in one dressage event in my life and pretty sure I left the ring with Al going  backwards on 2 legs, pretty much like most of my attempts at showing too! So learning a dressage test will be the most challenging skill with the cross country aspect being the most physically daunting!
