Story

Firstly, thank you so much for visiting my Just Giving page.

I know this may be the silliest thing I've pledged to do since bidding £180 for a Studio VIP card...and I'm sure you'll all be thinking this is just another one of those annoying fundraising events...but please, let me take this opportunity to draw your attention to the gravity of the challenge we propose to complete.

We'll be cycling at least 3000 miles in total, spread over 60 days, in average temperatures of 35 degrees. That works out at approximately 100 km every day, for 50 days, with a tent, clothing, spares and water strapped to the bike...

As many of you know, The Soldiers' Charity is a cause very close to my heart and one that I feel very strongly about. With a brother deploying to Afghanistan in March 2012, this phenominal charity supports those men and women who put everything on the line to defend us, and our country, whether they're serving soldiers or veterans. This challenge is a show of my appreciation to those members of the Armed Forces who are willing to risk everything.

Your support, however big or small, will be warmly received and hugely appreciated. All the money you donate will go to the Soldeirs' Charity immediately.

So please, show your support, and donate, to support the Soldiers' Charity.

Thank you once again,

Nic
