Welcome to the Network Arcaheology Does Trailwalker fundraising page.
On July 19th - 20th a group of sixteen Network Archaeology staff and friends of the company will be attempting to complete the infamous Oxfam Trailwalker challenge, a 100km (62 mile) walk across the South Downs finishing in Brighton. The sixteen of us are split into four teams of four, each member of the team has to complete the whole distance, and with only 30 hours to complete it, it will mean walking non-stop through the night!
Our teams are:
Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Trowels: Chris Taylor, Chris Casswell, Kelly Greenhough & Matt Gault
Blazing Trowels: Kealey Manvell, Caroline Kemp, Alex Beeby & Tom Wilson
The Good, The Bad, And The Archaeologists: Janey Brant, Richard Moore, Linda Bonnor & Jim Bonnor
Raiders Of The Lost Trowel: Adam Holamn, David Bonner, Michelle Kane, Matthew Stilliard
We have already started training and have many more training hikes planned. So with a bit of luck, lots of determination and all our prior training we all hope to complete this gruelling event and raise lots of money for Oxfam.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Oxfam Trailwalker will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. If you are a company please check if you are eligible to qualify for Gift Aid at: www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/charities/gift-aid.htm
The money donated will be split equally between the four teams as each team has a specific fundraising amount we have to reach before we can take part in the challenge.
So please donate now!
Thank you ever so much for supporting us and Oxfam.
