In November 2001 I lost my Dad to cancer, just a couple of months after my grandmother died, also of cancer.  This was a real wake up call for me, especially when I witnessed the suffering they went through.  Since then I've experienced many cases where relatives, including my aunt and my wife's aunt, friends and their parents, siblings or partners, and work colleagues have suffered this terrible disease in one form or another and there is nothing I would like to see more than a way to make the prevention and treatment of cancer more comfortable and effective.

I believe that Cancer Research UK undertake invaluable work towards this goal.

Oh, and I like driving too, so what better way could there be to support Cancer Research UK than by driving my little 17 year old Mazda MX-5 across Europe with my mate, Anthony Ryan?
