Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
For those of you that don't know, my mother-in-law, Connie, was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2008.
Since then she's had many appointments, undergone aggressive chemotherapy and recently had a mastectomy. She still has many challenges to overcome but the strength she has shown throughout, has been nothing short of inspirational to me and the rest of our family.
Throughout her treatment the staff at Clatterbridge Hospital (Wirral) have been absoultely fantastic. The hospital has an internationally recognised research centre that is always looking for different ways of raising money- so this is where I get involved!!
I'd always thought of doing the toughy guy race (http://www.toughguy.co.uk/) as it claims to be one of the toughest assault courses in the world....with the Navy Seal 'Grinder' assault course being it's nearest rival!!
So on the 1st Feb I will be competing in Tough guy and hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Clatterbridge Cancer Research unit.
So please, sponsor me now!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Clatterbridge Cancer Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
