Thank you visiting my London Marathon 2009 fundraising page, after a couple of years of trying I have finally gained a place in this years London Marathon. I've been braving the elements for the last few months and training is coming along nicely (plenty more ahead of me though).

I have chosen to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice which is based in Esher, Surrey, providing specialist palliative care services for patients in Surrey and South West London.

Not only does the hospice provide fantastic care and support to it’s patients it also offers care and support to their families according to their individual needs.

The hospice services are available to all patients FREE OF CHARGE!!!! Relying on their own fundraising enables the hospice to continue and advance it’s support and care at a much needed time.

I became aware of the Princess Alice Hospice through my wife, whose father past away in 2000. The care and support that was received at the hospice has always been remebered by my wife and in some ways this is a small way of saying thank you.
