Story

Everyman cancer research have "Tacheback" this September. The aim is simple. Grow a moustache in September and get people to sponsor you for it.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: it accepts all major credit and debit cards and it means that The Institute of Cancer Research & Everyman will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

WEEK 3

Not too long to go now!
Soon, I am going ot have the creature on my top lip humanely destroyed.

Mind you, if I'm truely honest, part of me is getting rather attatched to the little fella. Went to visit my folks last night. I took my Dad for a couple of beers and he told me it looked quite smart. Then I got back to the homestead and my Mother, apropos of nothing, suddenly piped up "By the way, your moustache looks horrible". Hmmmm. I don't think I'll keep it, but it is going to be emotional shaving it off. I don't think I'll ever laugh at people's facial hair again and I think I've learnt a brand new respect for the humble 'tache. I definitely don't rule out growing one again in the future - this time for pure pleasure. In fact, I'd recommend having a go to anyone.
