Helen and Eleanor are doing a 200 mile Coast to Coast Walk for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
We are doing the walk in June and our route takes us across the whole of across some of the countries highest peaks in the Lake District and .
Our cause is a good one. We are raising money for the to continue and expand research into the diagnosis and treatment of MS.
MS is a disease affecting the communication between the brain and the spinal chord resulting in profound disability. Helen’s father suffered from the disease for 34 years and when he passed away in 2008 we felt it was a good idea to do this walk in order to raise money for this cruel, and at present incurable disease. The money will go help research better diagnosis (through MRI techniques), early intervention and better treatments.
All donations, of whatever size, will be very gratefully received.
