At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

On the 12th July, 7 intrepid cyclists, Christian Dransfield, Robyn Howard, Sam Woods, Tom Rodgers, Glen Lodge, Matt Whelan, and Bernard Botteau will embark upon a mad mountain-climbing challenge, during this year's Tour de France! We shall be cycling some of the toughest ever past TDF mountain stages, this year's mountain stages, and some stages of our own making.

As you can see from the attached images, the climbs will include the likes of the Col du Tourmalet, Mont Ventoux, Alpe-D'Huez, Annecy-Semonz, Col de L'Iseran, Col du Galibier, and the Col D'Aubisque, among many others. As we're going to the trouble of embarking on this challenge, we may as well make it challenge us to the max!

It's not unusual to have to deal with the dark shadow of cancer cast on friends or family. This can be doubly challenging if it affects children. In light of recent events close to all our hearts, we will be attempting this challenge in aid of CLIC, a charity devoted to supporting those affected by children with cancer.
