Greetings all,

Archie, Dave and James will undertake an adventure of a scale rivaling a hollywood blockbuster. Under the guise of Team Timmay we will be venturing forth into the unknown and hopefully in the direction of Mongolia in a soviet bloc style Skoda estate, with a whopping 1.2 engine. Comfort not included as standard. None of the available routes are comfortable or safe: damage to cars, robberies and injuries are common. As of yet, nobody has been seriously injured taking part in the Mongol Rally although there have been several car accidents and participants have required hospital treatment. Depending on the route taken the total distance driven is around 8000-10,000 miles and most teams that reach the Mongolian capital do so within 3 to 4 weeks, although many never make it at all...

Apart from the adventure, we are taking part in aid of the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. We need to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity and any donations would be greatly appreciated so please dig deep and help us.Our plan is to raise a nifty grand (in Danny Dyer terms) between us. With your help we shall succeed and then some. The charity helps impoverished kids and your money will bring relief on a grand scale.
