Inca Trek 2008 · 15 November 2008 to 24 November 2008 ·

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

This November I will be doing the Inca Trek (Peru) to raise money to build a new cardiac theatre at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. I am currently working on the cardiac unit at Great Ormond Street and I see how hard the team works to fix the hearts of sick children.

As you may know my sister Georgie also spent a lot of time at Great Ormond Street and as a family we are really grateful to them. So Dad and I are 'plodding' together to great heights to raise loads of money for the hospital.

We are told the altitude is pretty awful and someone mentioned something about heels not being appropriate. This will definitely be my biggest (first) outdoorsy challenge yet! I'd be really grateful if you could please sponsor me.

Dad and I are funding the cost of the trip ourselves so all money will go directly to the charity.

Many thanks Mimi
