MASTERPIECE MARATHON RUNNER RUNS AGAIN

 

Mike Andrews, Project Consultant of Masterpiece Creative Agency is running the Flora London Marathon this April for the second consecutive year. Mike, 28, works in catalogue and commercial production and has been at Masterpiece for 9 years.

 

Last Year Mike ran in memory of Neil Steggle of Wyndeham PrePress who passed away aged 26. This year Mike is running for his chosen charity Dockland Settlements and is trying to raise £1200. This year Mike wants to improve on his time. He said "Your first marathon is always the most difficult as you are unaware of the psychological trauma you experience toward the end of the 26.2 miles. This year I feel more confident in preparing myself for this battle as I have an idea of what to expect and therefore I hope to be able to beat the time achieved last year". He also said "if you are competing in the marathon or attending as a spectator, keep an eye out for me. I will be easy to spot as my vest will be emblazoned with the Masterpiece logo on my back and my nickname 'SMILER' on the front."
