SACA Charity Bike Ride 2016 · 16 July 2016 to 17 July 2016 ·

SACA is a voluntary charity which focuses on projects to improve facilities and treatment available for children who are suffering from illnesses or are terminally ill. SACA has partnered with other like minded children's charities and hospitals to be able to deliver these services and facilities.

Story

On 16-17 July I will be taking part in the SACA bike ride from Birmingham to London (see more here at www.charitybikeride.com)

SACA are working with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity to create a SACA 'Home from Home' for the families of children and teenagers with cancer who are being treated at the hospital.

It will allow the families, who travel from all over the UK, to stay close to their loved ones, at no cost to the families for as long as they need.

Please dig deep and sponsor me 10p per mile if you can (total £12.60).

This isn't going to be an easy challenge for me, and I will post updates on my training!

Many thanks

Mike
