We did it!!!!!

Sunday April 26th my brother Dave, sister in law Anna and I ran the London Marathon.

Dave and I went over the finishing line together in 4hrs 48mins and Anna was just behind us doing 5hrs 15mins.

We ran for the British Heart Foundation and in memory of my little brother Pete who died unexpectedly in October, aged just 29, after undergoing risky but essential heart surgery.

Pete was the most thoughtful, adventurous and fun loving person, who refused to be held back by a heart condition he was born with. He never once complained about his problems and if you ever saw him VJ-ing in a Leeds club at 4am in the morning, you wouldn't think he had any health complaints at all.

Pete would have been chuffed to pieces to hear that we were raising money to support the people who helped him pack an awful lot into his short but happy and very colourful life.
