18 months ago I took up cycling and was soon bitten by the 'cycle bug'. In 2012 I will turn 50 years of age and the idea of cycling from Land's End to John O Groats came from my friend Clive who did exactly the same 3yrs ago.I will be raising money for Cransley Hospice and the MacMillan nurses who day in day out do such a fantastic job in caring for the terminally ill and their relatives.On the 1st May 2012 I will be setting off on this epic journey of nearly 1000 miles.You can follow my ride and preparations on:http://wheelygreat.blogspot.com/ .Thank you so much for your support and please be generous.
