We fight for people with deafblindness to ensure equality for all deafblind people

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On the 12th of June I am to embark upon a mentally and physically challenging journey through the seven Scottish cities. Beginning in Glasgow, our route takes us to Sterling, Perth, Inverness, Aberdeen (via Elgin), Edinburgh (via Dundee) and then back to Glasgow. All of the money raised will be going to DeafBlind Scotland, of which Bob is the chairman. Bob is deafblind. He has Ushers Syndrome, a condition resulting in being born deaf and slowly becoming blind. Bob & Louise have previously done charity tandem rides travelling over 1000 miles, they are a very inspirational couple and this time I am coming along to support them. So please find it in you hearts to dig deep and donate.

People who are deafblind have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. We aim to raise aspirations and expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and most isolated members of society.
