Story

Hello, My name is Michael Petchey, friends call me Mick...

This is by far the biggest challenge i've ever signed up to do but it's something i've always said I wanted to do before I got too old and when I saw that the Isabel Hospice was organising this expedition I couldn't think of a better charity to do it for.

The Isabel Hospice cared for my younger brother Bill in his last few weeks after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, they looked after him so well and we wouldn't have coped without their love and support, they really are a fantastic hospice who deserve all the help they can get, hence why I am doing this climb to try and raise some well deserved money for them.

Since loosing my brother, I have regularly supported the Hospice by climbing the 'Three Peaks', taking part in the 'Sunset and Stars Walk' and other local walks but as I say this is my biggest challenge so far and one I am really looking forward to.
